Rain, rain, go away
Rain 1, League 1.
Though the league got in the games last week despite rain, the rain prevailed this week, soaking the infield enough to turn the dirt into quicksand. As a result, all games were postponed and will be made up on August 16th, pushing the August 16th games to the 23rd.
Looking ahead to this week's action, the undefeated Halos kick things off with a matchup against a Tectonic Plates team that is better than its 1-3 record indicates.
The Seismic Dinnerware then finish their doubleheader against the perpetually undermanned Killer Beehs in the 9am game.
The Beehs finish their own doubleheader in the 10am game against the high-scoring, low-allowing Caravan.
The games wrap with the Fruit Of The Spirit looking for their first win against over-the-fence home run leader David Fowler and the Shield Bearers at 11am.
What will the storylines be after the games are done? Stay tuned and find out.
